Abstract :
Heartworm is an infectious disease present in tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world that mainly affects pets. Mosquitoes act as vectors in the spreading of heartworm disease. It can be cured by proper medication and surgery if needed, the animal can be prevented from heartworm disease by controlling the mosquitoes in the environment
